Ysgol Bryn Celyn summer fair: the Welsh cake stall

Ysgol Bryn Celyn, its summer fair, Mrs Evans and every price on this sheet are invented for practice.

1. The stall

It is the summer fair at Ysgol Bryn Celyn. Mrs Evans runs the Welsh cake stall. Pupils from Year 3 help her to take the money and give the change.

When someone pays, Mrs Evans always says “Diolch!”. That is Welsh for “Thank you!”.
