Ysgol Glan Morfa, its eisteddfod, the judge, the prizes and the performers are invented for practice.
Croeso! Families, carers and friends are warmly invited to the Year 6 stage of our school eisteddfod. This afternoon, 5 pupils from Year 6 will perform in the school hall. The running order is a surprise until the day.
The afternoon takes place in the school hall. Doors open at 12:45 pm. The first act starts at 1:00 pm and the last act starts at 2:00 pm. Each act has one 15-minute slot. The results will be announced at 2:30 pm.
This year’s judge is Mrs Eleri Prys, a retired music teacher from Aberaeron. She will write comments for every performer as well as choosing the winners.
First place wins the Glan Morfa silver cup, which the winner keeps for one year, and a £10 book token. Second place wins a £5 book token. Every performer receives a certificate and the judge’s written comments.
Miss Nia Tomos, the Year 6 teacher, has hidden the running order in 8 clue cards. Each of the 5 performers does one act in one time slot. Nobody performs twice.
